Rosacea

Using YAG laser can be effective at treating redness assocated with Rosacea. It will typically require four to six sessions to obtain maximum benefit.

This technology is highly effective at treating the small red lines (telangietasis) that appears from tiny red blood vessels under the skin.

Normal treatment is one appointment every four weeks. It is importaint to avoid rosacea aggravating activities such as sun exposure during this time. In the Northwest, an ideal time to begin your treatment is early Fall to late Winter. Sun avoidance is a nearly non-consideration during this time and will allow ample time to complete the treatment.

The doctor may prescripbe some therapy to use in conjunction with the laser.

Many patients want to know what to use after and between treatments. Dr. Kassay has made a small list of items she personally endorses here.
